Our Palo Santo smudge sticks are a wild tree native to the countries of Ecuador & Peru. It is most often encountered in the form of its heartwood. The wood is commonly burned in a nature similar to incense by allowing the smoke to cleanse an area. Its essence is believed to energetically clear a space of any lingering stagnant energy. This heavenly aromatic wood has been used for generations, and we work passionately to protect its place within contemporary conscious culture.
To use: Take one stick and light it with a candle, match or lighter. Allow to burn for 30 seconds to a minute, then carefully blow it out. Move around the space in which you wish to clear/purify the energy - be it your bedroom, office, car or your entire home - cleansing your crystals and in preparation for meditation - allowing the smoke to waft around each area. Place the unlit stick onto a clean dish or abalone shell to be used again the following day. Remember to always exercise care and caution with working with fire.
